DVI and Fibre Channel IP Cores

VastLane™ DVI Cores
Silicon Image is widely recognized as a pioneer and originator of the Digital Visual Interface (DVI) standard. In 1997, Silicon Image began shipping its innovative high-speed VastLane™ technology, which was later chosen as the technology base for the DVI standard. Silicon Image, in conjunction with Intel and leading PC and display OEMs established DVI to enable a standard all-digital interface between PCs and digital displays. Silicon Image has now shipped more than forty million of its DVI-compliant VastLane ICs, which have been incorporated into PC and display designs from the world's top PC and display manufacturers. Today, VastLane is the standard against which other companies measure their DVI compatibility and interoperability. Now, these standard-setting DVI cores are available by license to companies looking to deliver proven DVI solutions.
The VastLane cores are DVI-compliant and support the full DVI bandwidth of 25 to 165 MHz. The cores support high-resolution displays ranging from VGA to UXGA (1600 x 1200) and beyond in a single-link configuration. Three TMDS ® data channels for RGB send and receive data up to 1.65 Gbps per channel for true color depth (16.7 million) support. The DVI cores support industry-standard interfaces for universal compatibility.
Fibre Channel Cores
Silicon Image offers Fibre Channel compliant cores for high performance storage systems. This SerDes (Serializer/Deserializer) supports multi-rate speeds of 1.0625 and 2.125 Gbps for the single channel version. Two higher performance quad channels versions support 3.1975 and 3.125 Gbps rates.
