The HDMI® Authorized Testing Center (ATC)
The Silicon Image HDMI Authorized Testing Center (ATC) is a laboratory dedicated to testing HDMI compliance. Silicon Image operates test centers in Sunnyvale, California (USA), Shenzhen (China) and Shanghai (China). HDMI compliance testing is performed to the specifications called out in the HDMI Compliance Test Specification (CTS) 1.2a. The HDMI Adopter's Agreement calls for compliance testing if a product or its literature is to bear the HDMI logo. Requiring compliance testing promotes greater interoperability between HDMI devices from different manufacturers.

Simplay HD™ Testing
The Simplay HD™ Testing Program is designed for leading consumer electronics (CE) manufacturers and technology providers. The Simplay HD Testing Program is designed to give consumer peace of mind. Products that pass have been verified to meet the Simplay HD Testing Program requirements, including the Simplay HD Compatibility Test Specification, and are licensed to use the Simplay HD logo. Through this cooperative effort between Simplay and the leading CE manufacturers and technology providers, consumers making home theater purchases are assured that systems bearing the Simplay HD logo have been tested for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) functionality in conjunction with HDMI- all of this helping to maximize compatibility and readiness to receive and play all types of digital content.
